"TargetIR Ballistics" is an application (APP) with the ballistic calculation function provided by Wuhan Guide Sensmart Tech Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Guide Sensmart" or "us"). Guide Sensmart takes protecting the privacy of its users very seriously. We have developed this Privacy Policy ("this Policy") in the hope that you will carefully read and understand it before using TargetIR Ballistics and related services so that you can make appropriate choices.

 

This Policy will help you understand the following:

We will collect and use your information in accordance with this Privacy Policy, but we will not collect personal information in a mandatory bundle solely because you agree to this Policy.

This Policy applies to your access to and use of our products and services through the TargetIR Ballistics APP, web pages and TargetIR Ballistics software development kits (SDKs) and TargetIR Ballistics application programming interfaces (APIs) for use on third party websites and applications.

For purposes of this Policy, "personal information" means information that, alone or in combination with other information, could identify an individual.

(1) By using our services, you will be deemed to have consented to the collection, use, storage and disclosure of information about you in accordance with this Privacy Notice;

(2) If the information you authorize us to collect and use includes the information of another person, you shall obtain the prior consent of that person;

(3) Guide Sensmart websites, products or services may contain links to third party websites or services. Guide Sensmart recommends that you carefully read the privacy policies of these third parties before using their services and make your own independent judgment as to whether or not to use their services.

1. How we collect your personal information

1.1. Collection ways

When using this Service, you need to actively submit to us or authorize us to collect and use the following personal information that is:

(1) necessary for the operation of the basic business functions of mobile Internet applications, without which the basic business functions of mobile Internet applications cannot be enabled.

(2) necessary for us to provide to you the extended business functions of this Service and the basic business functions that require non-essential personal information. If you refuse to provide it, you will not be able to use the relevant extended business functions normally or achieve the functional effect we intend to achieve, but it will not affect your normal use of the basic business functions of this Service.

 

1.2. Information collection

(1) The personal information collected by this product includes: WiFi information (including IP address), pictures taken by the user and video information recorded by the user.

(2) When you use TargetIR Ballistics to connect the device, we will receive the WiFi information (including the IP address) of the currently connected device. The WiFi IP address is used only to preliminarily determine whether the currently connected device is our infrared thermal imaging device, so that we can subsequently provide infrared thermal imaging-related functions. The WiFi IP address is only used locally and will not be stored in any local location or uploaded to any server.

(3) When you use TargetIR Ballistics to access the Internet, if it is currently connected to WiFi, we will obtain the currently connected WiFi information (including the IP address). The WiFi IP address is only used to determine if the currently connected device is our infrared thermal imaging device, unnecessary network requests will be canceled to reduce user waiting time. The WiFi IP address is only used locally and will not be stored in any local location or uploaded to any server.

 

1.3. Application permissions

In order to provide you with services, TargetIR Ballistics will require the following device permissions during your use. We will ask for your authorization prior to use. You have the right to refuse or cancel the authorization at any time, but refusal or cancellation will affect your use of the corresponding functions. When you need to disable permissions, you can do so in the settings interface on your mobile device or in the APP. Please note that you are deemed to have authorized us to collect and use relevant information to provide you with corresponding services by enabling any permission, or have canceled such authorization by disabling any permission, in which case we will no longer collect and use relevant information based on the corresponding permission or provide you with services corresponding to such permission. However, your decision to disable the permission will not affect the previous collection and use of information based on your authorization.

 

2. How we disclose your personal information

Guide Sensmart will not disclose your personal information to any third party unless:

(1) the disclosure is made with your prior consent;

(2) in the case of applicable legal requirements or in response to legal procedures, Guide Sensmart may disclose your personal information to relevant law enforcement authorities or other government authorities;

(3) it is necessary to disclose information in order to achieve the purpose of providing services to you; for example, when you apply for after-sales maintenance of Guide Sensmart products, we must share your contact information and other personal information with the production factory to schedule the maintenance services.

(4) Guide Sensmart believes that it may, to the extent required or permitted by law, disclose your personal information to protect your or Guide Sensmart's legitimate interests, for example, to support audit, compliance and corporate governance; if all or part of the assets of Guide Sensmart are sold or transferred, your personal information may be part of the assets sold or transferred;

(5) in addition, as a multinational company, we may share personal information such as user registration information among affiliates.

 We undertake to make the above disclosures only for lawful, proper, necessary, specific and explicit purposes and only to provide information necessary for the realization of the relevant purposes. Meanwhile, we will also do a good job in the management of the receiving party through strict admission, confidentiality agreements, audit and supervision, and require them to handle the relevant information with confidentiality and security measures not lower than those required by this Policy.

 

3. How we store and protect your personal information

3.1. Storage

Generally, we only retain your personal information for the shortest time necessary to achieve the purposes authorized by you, unless otherwise provided for by laws and regulations or otherwise authorized by you. At the end of the retention period for the personal information described above, we will delete or anonymize your personal information.

 

3.2. Protection

We will store in China the user personal information and important operation data that are collected from China in accordance with the law.

To ensure continuity of service and to comply with applicable laws and regulations or the requirements of competent authorities, we will retain your information on an ongoing basis during your use of relevant products or services; we may still need to retain some of your information after you stop using it. At the end of the retention period, we will immediately delete or anonymize this information.

During the retention period, Guide Sensmart will make every reasonable effort to protect the security of user personal information. We have taken and will continue to take the following security measures:

(1) Our network services use transmission security protocols, encryption, and other technologies. Browsing services are provided in a secure manner to ensure the security of user data during transmission and storage.

(2) Manage and standardize the storage and use of customer information by establishing a data classification and grading system, data security management specifications and data security development specifications.

(3) Establish a strict data use and access system, and adopt strict data access permission control and multi-identity authentication technology to protect information security, so as to avoid illegal acquisition and use of data.

(4) Take various measures such as special data and technical security audits, log establishment audits and behavior audits.

(5) Hold security and privacy protection training courses to strengthen employees' awareness of the importance of protecting information security.

Please note that although the above reasonable and effective measures have been taken and the standards required by relevant laws have been met, we cannot provide a complete guarantee of information security due to the open nature of the network environment.

In the case of any personal information security incident due to unexpected events or force majeure, we will try our best to control the situation and promptly inform you of the cause of the incident, the security measures we have taken, the security measures you can take on your own initiative and other relevant information. Meanwhile, we will report the case to the corresponding competent authority for record in accordance with the requirements of laws and regulations.

4. How we use your personal information

4.1. Based on our legitimate interests, we will use your personal information for the following purposes, including but not limited to:

(1) to ensure or improve system security, such as user authentication, security protection, error or fault troubleshooting, fraud detection, archiving and backup;

(1) Please note that all personal information you provide or authorize us to collect when using this Service will continue to authorize us to use it during your use of our products or services, unless you delete it or refuse us to collect it through account or system settings. When you deregister your account, we will stop using and delete or anonymize your personal information, unless otherwise provided for by laws and regulations.

(2) When we display you and the personal information you provide, we will desensitize your information by means of content replacement and anonymization to protect your information security.

(3) Please understand that the functions and services we provide to you are constantly being updated and developed. If we need to collect and use your personal information for new features or services, we will separately notify you through instructions on the pages, interactive processes, website announcements or other means of the type, extent, purposes and rules of use of the information to be collected and obtain your express consent.
